Analog's emID
About me
I am first and foremost a composer then i guess a producer. I used to write under various names (Protoplasm Daddy, Flurries of Rhetoric, Red Grout) but decided to stick to my original name of about 12 years use "Analog".

I started out writing using a 4 track and anything i could get my hands on, playing bass in a punk band. Since then i've played drums in another punk band, and bought a pc and started writing beats etc.

I now function under the name Analog writing anything with or without a beat... hmmm, some melodic, some unlistenably noisy, some rhythmical, some disjointed, some entirely sequenced, some played mostly live etc etc.

I play music in a band with my girlfriend called Blood Moon. link We are dionesian improvisers exploring naive, sometimes violent expression using a variety of instruments.

I also play in a band, as yet un-named, making beats and playing synths with a bassist/vocalist and a guitarist. Our music is melodic, thoughful, and, hopefully, somewhat emotive. The three of us used to be in a band called Doublejo(H)ngrey, but we split up due to a general malaise.

--------------------------------------------

In general, i'm a likeable guy. I like walking on the beach, laughing at disabled people and torturing small animals.
