--> I would love some MIDI drum pads to trigger samples in fruity, reason, etc. I'm looking to spend no more than £350 really. What do you recommend? I've been looking at the SPD-S but the sampling seems to be too much for what I need, so I would love one that's purely a controller, with no onboard samples. Anyone?

Colin, on here, is selling a drumkat, and apparently thats a real sweet controller. go PM him or something.

I got a used dd-55 link for $130.

It's pretty fun to play... but for accuaracy I still like to use the keyboard... but maybe I just haven't gotten used to the touch senstivity yet.

yeah .. check it out ,,, .. ,, ... link

id sell it cheap . that is .. if the ebay thing doesnt work out

buy an old roland octapad on ebay- they can be expanded with pedals too. they are simple and effective, and they let you use sticks instead of just fingers. I think you'd be getting a good deal on one if you paid $100-150 plus shipping. Thats on my list of things to buy, along with a behringer foot controller.

Alesis was supposed to be selling a newer, nicer version of the octapad soon, I thought. (I know it's originally a roland product, but it looks very similar)

Here it is - the ControlPad: link

$199 - not bad!

Here's the alesis page: link

That sounds pretty groovy actually. I will look into that DK10 colin - how much is cheap?
