for the live sampling option, in your (very helpful, well presented) pdf file, you say "press 1 for step one, press 1 for step two" i assume that yo umean "press 2 for step two".
My question is, how long does the sample record for when i press 3 (for step three). Does it start recording when i press 3 and stop when i let go?
Obviously i haven't tried it out yet (i'm at work), but it looks cool, and it gave me an idea for a similar patch: use tapin/out as your record buffer, make an infinte delay where you can insert sounds on a metric basis. specify the beginning and end (or beginning and duration) of where in the measure you want the insertion, then click the button and when that point in time comes around the gate will be open.

sorry there is a error in the pdf. press 1 for step one and press 2 for step two and so on ..logic ;)
but your question:
at the moment are pressing a button from 1 to 8 i will be sampled a time till 2000ms or if you press again sooner it should stop at taht time. and there is no key holding just pressing and it will start.

Thanks for this cool toy!
I've tried the new record option but the saved file seems to be empty...
Any idea?

first you have to click on "save as" to localize in wich directory you want to record and then you can click on "record"...

FUN! Nice work on this. I'm still trying to figure out why i can't record to the steps from a line-in source, but i've been playing with existing wavs and having fun so far.
Is there a way to get mono sounds to play on both channels?
