here's a course outline for a course in "music and audio computing 2"

the first link there has detailed notes on digital filters, waveguides, waveshaping, etc etc, with reference to msp in most of it.

there's also a brief introduction to the c++ library STK (synthesis toolkit).

A nice technical reference for digital filters, etc.
