I played a set in Londontown. I thought it would be empty cause of link but it was most certainly not when I showed up. Discovered I wasn't on for a few hours, so went a few doors down to a pub where my friend's cousin worked. Walked in and sat down. I looked around, saw this guy sitting with some peeps who looked an awful lot like one of my favourite German electronic artists, but then I'm like, wtf would be the odds of Ulrich Schnauss being in this random pub when I am. So I mentioned this to my friend who also happens to be a fan and a bit more gregarious than me , so he gets his Austrian friend to go stand near these dudes (to hear what they are saying). The Austrian then takes it a step father and asks if this is indeed Ulrich, and the answer is yes. So then we proceed to hang for a bit. Whoa.
Then they leave because they have an "early flight" (although I think I believe that story) and then I go and play a set that went over really well. Then I end up back at the pub I was in at the beginning until 4:30 am drinking and singing cheesy 80's tunes. London can be fun.
Next show is me opening for Mike (effin) Paradinas in Hengelo, Netherlands. Holy OMGMOMGMOMGOMG. Yeah. OMG. Yeah.
I got offered an EP on London label and a gig (if I come back soon) with Luke (effin  ) Vibert. OMGOMGOMGOMG. Yeah.
I am drunk and tired. It's now 5:15. G'night.

Thanks everyone, just woke up and still can't quite get over it......
Ulrlich Schnauss records only as himself (AFAIK) and his music is lovely. Nothing like Vibert or Paradinas, but still worth checking. Lush symphonic tunes.
I got the gig last night basically through myspace link and the one in the Netherlands by spamming friends. I actually changed my flight home to a week later because playing with Mike Paradinas basically means the plane can crash on the way home and you will all know I died happy.
My other London gig was through the label that has offered to do the EP, a small label I have already been on a comp through. I have another EP coming out on a Canadian label soon, so I have to actually write some new tracks for this one. But I have no job until January so hopefully I can.
I'm hungry.
