--> my album is released today, october 23, on noise factory records

its a collection of techno-pop tunes composed in my decidedly analogue studio. if you like the more electronic releases on morr (isan, solvent, etc.) and city centre offices, then this might be something you'd be into.

the one and only monsieur jdg mastered it, and lem (aka b kawula) spent hours working on the art.

i don't really know what the release date really signifies. for instance, it's not available in iTunes yet. it's definitely getting UK and Japanese distribution, but i think the distribution in germany's been set back by a month or so. not sure what usa distribution there is.

as soon as i have more distribution info i'll post it here.

there's been some talk with the label about doing a limited UK tour (like london, manchester and cambridge) and maybe a date or two in germany in 2007. nothing solid yet...

cool! who is the japanese distrubutor? plop?

mastered all analog as well (until it hit the computer again)

music with real electrons!

this is one of the things i've done that i go back to and listen often.
its good.

no joke.

Nice! Very cool.

i liked the stuff on your myspace page.. you coxed some very nice sounds out of your very nice equipment.

congrats on the release.

this is gonna be good. let me know when you know more about german dates or if you need help lining up some additional gigs.

very cool. i can't wait to hear it mini. congrats.

wow, congrats. How many copies pressed?

hot damn! i'll be buying it the second i see it. and if i don't i will order it. yep.

congrats, you deserve it.
skab: yes plop does distrobution for the label in japan, for the uk/germany and the rest of europe its cargo, for canada its outside in the us it is southern. so thats how noise factory records gets around...
oh and there are out numerious digital distribution outlets itunes, emusic and msnmusic...
we also have a great on line ordering system set up.
jeff congrates on the cd release... it might seem slow going from your perspective in terms of some distyribution points are going some are dragging behind... but thats how it always is there is no way of syncing up mulitple distributors all at once and to get them to launch all at the same time so what youll notice is its a slow going process but by the time my new record gets out in feb your will have reached all its distribution points... thats how it works... so for example mine will be " released" in feb but wont be out there in full force untill august.
which is why I usually wait 6 to 10 months befor going on any tours other wise its a waste of tour...as no one has the record yet...

so sit ight it will all be out there eventually just need to keep in mind that noise factory is a one person operation, so things take a little slower to get going its well worth it trust me!!! congrates again and glad to have brought you on to noise factory...

hoooray.
sounds wicked.

drop me a mail if you are touring through south germany. can't promise but maybe there's some chance for a gig.

hey, thanks all. i'll definitely be getting in touch with people when a tour actually happens.

there was some talk of naw and i doing a show together in the UK. speculation at the moment. maybe neil knows more than i do...

That's really cool, congrats on the release and good luck with it. Yes it takes time for a release to really get out there in the wild. I love a lot of solvend and isan stuff - I'll check out your stuff... Of course, I'd check it out anyway... :-)

radnesssss!

hey jeff yeah I know as much as you about the show in london... its supposed to be the cd launch event in the uk for my new cd but that is all i know..I asked joe to get me more info and confirm is asap so that I can book other dates in the uk, france and germany around that time.
no sense going to Uk for one show right???
