28 Days Later
Dawn of the Dead (remake)

an australian zombie splatterhorror called Undead.. made on some rediculously low budget and an awesome movie..

my all time fave would have to be evil dead 1 tho..

yea evil dead is the shit. can't say too much for sam raimi's recent forays into japanese horror, though.

"shop smart, shop s-mart"

whatever is on the tele, which is usally like halloween 5

i think there is a halloween 6 too

black sabbath
the exorcist
the haunting (1963)
in a glass cage
the texas chain saw massacre (1974)
raw meat
aliens
night of the living dead (1963)
the shining

evil dead 2 is by far better than the first ...sorry, just stating fact.

i believe there is 8.

I like crazy psychological terror movies.

Like Repulsion and The Tenant.

it seems to me like evil dead 2 is what sam raimi wanted to do with evil dead, but didn't have the budget. i agree with you, it is better - the crawling hand is the best part - but i love the original too.

roshi, i see you're a polanski fan
the original had tree rape. i'll give it that much. but have you ever heard more schizophrenic sound design than the sequel? that totally made the movie for me.

roshi > u seen clean, shaven?

or swimming pool?

swimming pool was nutsoid.

swimming pool (2003)?
haven't seen it yet.

which reminds me, i need to take demonlover back tomorrow.

yea, that's the one. it's not a scary movie, per se, but its intensely psychological.

The wickerman (1973). Not really graphic at all, but truly scary in a way not often seen in modern horror.

After that I'd have to say 28 Days Later and Shaun of the Dead

It's got to be Braindead for me.

Ha! that movie ROCKS.

IMDB says that in Sweden, if you rented this, you got a complimentary vomit bag.
