--> seeing mookid's Shameful old tracks thread made me think about my first all-in-one type drum machine, the roland mc505. i don't have much record of things i made with it except for these 2 tracks that were on a minidisc:
1.Bint, ogg
2.untitled, mc505 and sp 808

simple, repetitive, but fun i think... it makes me want to dust it off and make a mc505 themed ep.
anyone else like this box-o-groove and terrible presets?

Cool; nice drum programming. I wouldn't be 'shameful' of either of these. Bint seems really RDJ-album-ish, which yes I realize is a really lame thing to say.

I've always kind of wanted to try one of those machines.

i was always warned off these after almost buying a mc303.. but the 505 were better..

i gush about my es-1 all the time..

they both sound pretty awesome actually :D i've heared nothing but shite about the mc505 though, never considered buying one untill i've tested it out. If it's fah-proof (comparable to the universal fool-proof statement) then it's neat in my book.

I've always looked at the korg es-1 thing, and always wondered if it would be of any use to me. Some day, i mean SOME day, i'll go over to that shop and demand those wankers to demonstrate it to me.

If that untitled track was in a minor key is would sound like a mix of autechre and aphex I reckon, I like it

I really liked both of those songs.
