--> Wow- I am enjoying this online community participation thing! I can't believe I didn't do this earlier- NO WONDER I have trouble getting the word out about my shows! Now I can procrastinate at work forum-ing with fellow regional music headz!

So, I guess I should self-promote a little bit and hype up my new 12" on the ORAC label! ORAC are amazing and from Seattle and this is my 3rd 12" for them. In a "deep house" (slow, swinging, dubbed out, low-end) style, "Fields of May" is the big A-side. On the technical tip, it was done entirely on Audiomulch, mixed and recorded live on a Soundcraft E6 mixer and DAT with an EH Memory Man on the send. My compatriot from DRECK, SECONDO does the Fields remix and there is an exclusive
B-side too.

"Fields" contains ONLY micro sounds from the first 16 bars of Curtis Mayfield's classic funk tune, "Kung Fu."

Enjoy!! I actually don't have sale/trade copies yet because of a label snafu, but I saw it and heard it at Ozone!!

Nice one!!!!!

I'll have to check this out. Drumsolo's Delight was cool. They stock it at the Seattle Public Library, if you didn't know.

i have drumsolo's delight too, great album on a great label! good to see you on 411.

welcome to the forums.

For those who don't know strategy, its well past time you did... awesome music!!!

Wow, that is cool that they have 'Delight' at the library in Seattle. Huh! Wow. I've driven past that new building but I haven't been in it yet!

I don't know if the new 12" is at all like Drumsolo's Delight..You all will have to decide...I guess it is similar in that neither the DD CD nor the new 12" have very much in the way of treble going on! Very muted sound.

Coming up in '07:
"Tomorrow May Never Come" 12" (+ Ada remix) - Holocene Music
Hey Willpower "Uh Uh Uh" (Strategy Remix) - on 'Hundredaire' CDEP- Tomlab
Future Rock CD album- kranky
Future Rock 12" single- Community Library
Procrastination Tracks CD album- kranky

Welcome!
