bummer. btw your set there w/paul was pretty fun.

ooh yeah! nice jams.

That was a good rehearsal. I wonder if jam outs with different em411 folks would be cool for every ramp?
jams are good. i'm really pushing the jamming thing via fiasco cuz it keeps you limber! esp when not wanting to play regular club gigs for a while.
maybe it is like the 'yoga of electronic music making'-- keeps you flexible and makes you get all spiritual about your gear.

thanks for kind words, btw
i'm gonna go meditate on a bed of potentiometers now.

<OHM>

i think it would be awesome. there could be a RAMP comp or download only release or something of tracks all written during jams for ramp. that'd be pretty diverse stuff.

Tonight... tonight... tonight...

oh oh....

We're gonna make it right.

i get outta work at 9 and am walking down so you should hold off on the IDM til' about 9:15 or so....or else!

d'oh!!!!!!

PS, I showed the pic of your studio that's inside the "Bedroom Rockers" book to my music students last night, and they laughed at all your stuff. In this day of mp3s and VSTs, they had no idea what all that plastic stuff was all over the place.

kids.

the laptop plus a bunch of plug ins is the 303 of today. really. someone made this point on another forum and it's true. back in the day 303's were $50 and people used them because they were cheap and of course sounded pretty dope. these days a kid can get ahold of a laptop and some plugs and be off to the races.

I really really really want a book of this type of science fiction art.
