--> In August 2004 I started working on a project called The Night Walks. The basic plan was to record some poets reciting their original work and set these to electronic music.

Twelve months later The Night Walks was released.

The project was a huge learning experience for me and I really enjoyed the the whole creative process.

Since the album was completed, I have had the opportunity to broadcast the finished work in several theatres and 'loungy' nightclubs with assistance from a couple of VJs.

The Night Walks was a financial success too! Now completely sold out - and all profits were donated to Tounges and Grooves (the home of poetry in Portsmouth, UK).

I feel the time has come for me to build on the success of The Night Walks. I plan to take the initial ideas and concepts and create a new and improved work. I'm going to record more spoken words and compose new music for a CD release for sure - the rest of the project is dependent on willing collaborators. VJs, film-makers and artists - lend me your skills!

The reason for blogging this is to document the progress of this project.
