hey that'd be amazing. brightons an hour away from me, i'd definately make it, know plenty of people there too!

we should do this

I'd come over if it happens. let me know when things become more concrete and I'll set you up with a forum for planning at link

i am in brighton this weekend, lets do it then.

sounds awesome, make it happen!

sounds sweet!! do it.
millicent will play that. deffo. it would be nice to do it in the summer methinks.

were you drunk when you posed that??

yes i was drunk. i still think its a great idea. i can prepare if we make it in the summer and maybe it will be a substantial event outdoors somewhere. lots to think about now actually could be quite good methinks.

how long do these things usually take to get together?

Brighton hip hop festival is held on the seafront each last BH of the year (I think). May be pricey to do it on the beach though.

i'd be up for it

me maybe, definitely would like to come over. Brighton is a funny place isn't it?

two to three months advance planning are helpful, depending on how much the venue sorts out and how much you have/want to do yourself.. the beach would be a dream.

yeah- do one outdoors!
i organised stfu chester which took almost no effort but then it was more like a night down the pub than a music festival
filarion organised the biggest most complicated one so far
thers no rules really- just put on a gig and get as many people as you can to come and play- and try to make it free if you can

i'd be up for Brighton - so would Calika who is based there and would probably help you in the organisation.... you need to start a thread over at link if you are planning on making this happen.....

I'm on the case regarding organising something outdoor (or underground!) in the Scottish countryside
VC is planning something special next year too
