Gridface link review ::: "His debut album possesses an immediately well defined style and confidence based upon a series of tracks with well composed melodic, percussive and structural design. Acoustic piano motifs abound from the beginning as "Pictures Of Piano Notes" progresses across triplets of notes and crescendos of violin. Whilst the sound palette is distinctly within a modern compositional mode the percussive elements skitter and roll with a distinct asian/idm hybrid force. Ultre works an engaging mix throughout this album without falter. Track after track of developing melody and rhythmic wanderings produce a steady and mature narrative."

very nice pics

It's a really great album.

Got the advance from eMusic and it's been in constant rotation for a couple weeks. Seems to parallel my mood and the weather quite perfectly. Definitely, absolutely, and positively recommended. Keep up the good work...

thanks everamzah - all the artwork is done by Finn/Ultre by hand & manipulated in computer - you can read more about his process @ link

& Logo - really glad you have enjoyed your eMusic purchase.... he is a true talent I think and I hope to work with him into the future.... may I ask - have any tracks been stand out for you?... it will help me decide which ones to promote to radio stations....

thanks David

can't wait to hear this!

I really like tracks 1, 6, 7, and 9, but they are all pretty great... 2 and 3 also sound like a more obvious and digestible singles depending on what your going for

yeah checked out the eMusic samples - this sounds like it will work well in my collection - will it hit the shops at some point?

Hi dot > yes it will get there - Cargo are taking it for distro early Dec and our other distro will be getting it for Eusope and US

Still hoping on Plop to happen so we get Japanease distro - as we are getting more and more of a following there

Thanks for the feedback logo

one happy customer just emailed in

"The Ultre album is SUPERB. Unbelieveable, I'm so impressed at its
musicality and deftness of touch. Nice one guys. and thanks for the
quick postage. great mastering too."

another happy customer here, recieved it this morning and it's got me on the first listen. track 5 is the standout track for me but will have to listen more. i like the hidden track too, is that a remix? i remember you saying something about each audiobulb album having a hidden remix by another audiobulb artist.

sssshhhh! dont mention the hidden track!!!!

Its actually a quite abstract number called "movement movement" - finn has many tracks - he gave me a 50 track demo when i asked for tracks to consider for his album.... and we decided upon a first album with the pianoa and string pieces more prominent.... later albums could go more experimental but who knows - he writes all the time!
