a real Jet fighter 1:1 copy was created and (not) burn down as symbolizing the war in Vietnam is really over. is it really over? no not really as when we approach the final, local police has decided that it will be too sensitive and not allow us to do so. but any way. show went well. The music concept is that one laptop sample the voice through Presonous Firebox then the other Laptop (mac) taking the recorded sample, process. After 10 minutes of sampling, the show is on. This is the real life replica of the jet. the artist, Nguyen Manh Hung, son of the Mig 21 design the back of the jet, Bradford, son of the F4, design the first half of the jet, it is a combine F4/Mig 21 version, I (tri minh) do the sounds/sampling for the performance artist Dao Anh Khanh and Nguyen Manh Hung playing/toying with the samples all in all connected through the wireless network. Art is cheap here but I feel bad that it is way too cheap.

The plane was design by two artist, Nguyen Manh Hung (vietnamese) and Bradford (US) then it was build by 6-8 men and women in 6 days and the total cost of this plane is (900 USD). Art is cheap in Vietnam (HAHAHA) anyway, you can check some more pictures at: link
