--> Got my hands on a Korg Poly-61 yesterday via Craigslist. 20 USD, a pretty good deal, even considering the tattered endcaps, stuck note, and janky buttons.

I'm usually more of a Roland fanboy, but I really like the aggro 'Korg noises' coming out of this thing.

Got it home, took some pics of my cat checking it out, and ended up on Matrixsynth this morning. Sweet.

What the F? I can't seem to attach tags to this blog. I've tried several times. Guess I'll try again later.

yes, i've had that bug too
bug the admin.

OK, think I got it. no capitals, no dashes (I was trying to tag "Poly-61"), and no spaces between tags (just commas). It makes sense, though it's a little restrictive. I'll submit a short note in the 'suggestion' area about making it a little more permissive.

or at least posting the rules. I wonder if you can add umlauts to your release titles now?

Nö

Actually, I have no idea.

There's nothing more relaxing than looking at cat and synth photos... combine the two... pure gold.

lovely cat you've got there
here's another nice one
How does one embed images?

with the [ i m a g e ] tag (without spaces)
click on the FORMATTING txt on the right side
to view some options

so that was yours? when I saw this one I thought -what a wonderful name for a cat

that's a great coloring on Zoe

Thanks. She also has fur on her back legs that makes her look like she's weraing pantaloons.

Well, I originally named her Zodiac, but I called her that about twice and then shortened it to Zoe.

by the way, I love MK Finger, your [Adult Swim] track! I also love the one they use that has the middle eastern sound to it.

Do you know those wacky [as] guys?

Thanks, kidko. I only know one of them, and only a little (via email); he's kind of been my contact there about them using my music. Supposedly they'll be using a couple more of my tracks soon. I will definitely blog about that if it happens, and keep your eye out for a [music by BuildingOnFire] tag at the end of bumps. That's me.
