The Monks - "Monk Chant" -- These were four American GI weirdos living in Germany. They shaved the front and top of their hair and, around 1963, were doing music that predicted electronic and punk. I love the "WTF" reactions of the teen dancers when they all gather around the guitar on the floor at 1:15:
