music stuff i bought this year

Here's a list of the music stuff I bought this year, in order of usefulness:
1. EMU 1616m laptop soundcard
- So cool to have more than 2 ins and outs, and 2 midi interfaces thrown into the mix as well. Masses of routing possibilities.
2. cable ties
- An amazing improvement to workflow for just a few pence.
3. Lakewood D-1 acoustic guitar
- An absolutely beautiful sounding guitar, looking forward to recording this more in 2007.
4. NI Complete Upgrade 2->3
- Lots of extra goodies in this upgrade, and you get a separate manual for each product. Very steep learning curve though, and I mostly just use Kompakt, Elektrik Piano, and the beat machines in Reaktor.
5. Korg Electribe ES1 Mk 2
- Got this for £70 on ebay. Really just use it in a youthwork project to give the kids something to rap over. Goes down a storm mind, and pretty resilient to liquid attack.
New year gear resolution:

Oooo, Novation ReMOTE SL Zero - nice. I was thinking of getting one of those this year, but I decided to figure out how to use my BCR2000 instead. It doesn't have all the automapping stuff, but after putting in a couple of nights effort into manual mapping it works great.
How's Live 6 working out? I'm really getting lots of use out of v5, and I don't find myself missing much in the way of v6 features.

I have a BCR as well but will use it exclusively on my nord micromod. I wanted the SL more for studio work than live - i just hate trying to access pages and pages of vars when they all appear right infront of me really easily [yup, im lazy].
Live 6 is good - havent had lots of time on it yet to delve too deep - I had a lite version of 5 previously that i upgraded from so Im just finding my way around. im blown by the whole instrument racks thing - I know you had devices in 5 but this is stacked devices and opens shit right up!

The cable ties you want to get though are the new velcro style. I had stacks of them from when I was installing Cat 6 cable about 2 years ago. They are reuseable and you can cut them to size as well. They are also 'multipurpose'! ;)

3. iZotope Trash (so flexible)
4. Refx's Slayer (nice sound)

7. A pedal board (has changed my life)
8. Cheep Mics (so good)
Renting the cello currently, but my teacher thinks it's a pretty nice one so might eventually buy it (rent to own program).
