--> Since it's getting closer to the deadline, I thought I'd repost my original call for works.

Due to the recent confusion with track submissions, we've added this note to the call for works.
Please note:
We are looking specifically for harsh/abrasive noise tracks! (Check out the work of Merzbow, or Kevin Drumm, or, in a more rock-oriented take on noise, we'd accept work similar to Lightening Bolt or Melt Banana.) The reason we've stipulated "noise related" as opposed to simpley "noise" is because we would like to encourage creativity when contemplating how to approach the project. However, we've received many idm and ambient tracks that have somewhat noisy sound design, but in the end, still sound like ambient or idm tracks. We realize many artists have not worked in the noise genre before, but that is part of the challenge. As we have mentioned before, no money will be made by either the artist or the label, so please, try some new things, learn a lot in the process, and have fun! The deadline is July 1rst so there is plenty of time to work on a new track!

Original Call for Works
We've been working a lot in the last few months to get this little multimedia label started, but many projects have fallen through in the process. As a result, we're going to put out a compilation album to hopefully get the ball rolling. After building a community for visual and audio artists, hopefully KSOD will become a place where people can meet, share ideas, and find other people to collaborate with. We plan on doing physical releases at some point, but as of now we neither have the revenue, nor the publicity necessary to do that.

We're sending out a call for works for the first ksod (kitty scratch of death) compilation album.
Deadline for audio submissions is July 1rst (although the earlier the submission, the better). Works must be noise-related, and sent to us in 192 kbps mp3 format. 8:00 maximum, and 1:50 minimum.

Using a random number generator/matching program, we'll randomly pair video artists with each track, so hopefully there will be a dvd to go along with the release. We encourage getting a track to us asap so if we feel it needs a little tweaking to properly fit the compilation, you may have time to work on it.

Also, if any of you work with video, e-mail us a sample of your work. We're currently looking for more experimental visualists for the second phase of the project.

Damn, that sounds uber cool I'm gonna get right to it!

i put in for this

was it noise enough bryan?

I think i'd like to hear the ambient and idm with noisy sound design!

ive got some noise-like stuff downloadable from my myspace upiol1
try notsafe (gets all rough in the 2nd half)
or i saw the tits of a ninja
theyre probably not exactly what you want but you still might be interested
all tracks unsequenced and unperformed (no hands-almost) and unedited (except for choosing a good bit to upload)
made with audio-midi feedback so theyre kind of self generating
and theyre all 3 or 4 years old- im just in the process of sorting out my studio so the new generation of sounds will be coming soon

i'd like to submit something, but again dunno if its exactly what you're looking for, can send a few mp3s later anyway

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

yeah, the ambient and idm with noisy sound design is reeeeally good. Makes me want to put together another comp like that later on sometime.

So I saw this post last night and figured I would builded a little reaktor patch to do a noise track with. If you would like to include the patch with comp i would be more the willing to pass it your way.
here is a little demo of it
link
I still need to tweak it a bit.
