Well. . new year. . new blog. . . new website I've just found here 
Got lots of plans for this year, mainly exploring music more, and getting an electronic live performance happening.
I'm interested in all sorts of things. . but mostly on the abstract/surreal/'exploratory' side of life..
Hopefully that makes sense. . in other words. . concepts, ideas, meanings. . all that kind of thing.
Musically this is a new direction for me. . up until recently I considered myself a 'hardcore' 'raver' .. . yeah!
Now I'm really getting into sort of melodic IDM, ambient, psychedelic, a little bit of psytrance but not alot.
At the moment I'm all about listening to Ochre (ochremusic.com if you don't know of him) - Really love the track "Low Grav Freefall" . . feels exactly like the name when I'm listening to it.
Anyhow I'm only new to producing, I'm just starting to get to the point where I can make something that's *vaguely* a representation of what I have stuck in my mind, but yeah. . alot more work needed.
I'm using FLstudio 6 on a crappy old PC at the moment, I'd really like to get more into hardware. . just because I love twiddling all the knobs and stuff, and I'm a big fan of live performance...
But at the same time with uni ramping up (Ba. IT, majoring in computing & multimedia) I'm really going to need to get myself a decent computer to keep up with video editing, animation, etc.. so maybe I should just give up on the music gear for now and keep running software.
Anyhow, other than that. . a few quick things. . I'm 20. . I'm quite shy if you were to ever meet me. . I like to think I'm intelligent, but often act like an idiot without realising it until it's too late.
I like to use lots of ...'s when I'm writing... its just kind of like "generic grammatical pause" for me ... or something :P
Hopefully I'll get to know some people round here and learn a thing or two
