--> for the past year, i've been working on technical aspects of my percussion programming. i've settled on ableton live as a midi beat programmer, and have been enjoying drumatic and ers drums for sound sources. since i am an analogue head, i've been focusing on modifying a cr8000 circuit board to pull more juice from its analogue drum circuits. here are some photos on flickr of the progress thus far.

on the ableton workstation wtf is that thing below the monitor and above the TF ???

f'real, that thing looks dope. it's like a weird, short, flat, colorful keyboard.

hi ejst.. . typematrix keyboard: link
the unique thing about the typematrix is that the keys are in a grid. i find it stupid for typing (i don't know dvorak). but it is an interesting product and good for Live.
i added plastic sticky tape in colors and used a white paint marker
cheezy. not to hard on the wallet when bought used.

whoa coloring a keyboard and linking that to live template-genius. rraadd!!

here is a clseup of the keyboard.
it is true not much work was involved here, but this might be useful to somebody?
