So, this new box is almost done... well expect that i need to replace the digital outs.
The buttons are from sparks had have led siting inside them. I'm also building a midi recording object in reaktor that will allow me to record stuff from a keyboard and resequence those recorded parts just like my other software does with samples. I've been thinking about using it with a midines

looks great! but the pads are crooked?!

yes crooked. nice box mister. are you still using primarily the first one?
can't wait to hear it some...

measure twice....cut once.

bad ass

I like it wonky. Makes it look more home-brew. What control circuit are you using?

Sorry, I've just noticed. They're not even screwed in.

no they are screwed in.. because I haven't fix the digital out issues ... So they will not be crooked on the install.

Man, everyone on em411 is totally OCD!

NOOOOOO CROOKEDNESS I MUST FIX IT
Very nice. Wish I had the attention span to do something like that. DIY MIDI stuff is frickin rad. (ugh, i said rad)

Nice box em978. What are the digital outs for? Strictly data or data and audio? Your use of "digital outs" rather than "digital out" has me curious.

And mlbot, you left too many spaces between your sentences and it gives your post an uneven appearance. You also forgot to put a period at the end of the second sentence...most upsetting.

LOL @ sohcahtoa & mlbot

the digital out control the leds. This is a back up for my other box just in case something goes wrong with it. I'll probably build other one to out of these toys I found for a dollar a piece link

Ah cool. I had assumed it was an output from the box, like s/pdif or MIDI.

Moral of this story: think inside of the box.

make us another video of you playing it mr em978 !!

yes!, this time use lights and a tripod!
