--> So, Im a demo guy. I mean to say is that my work, songs that is, comes from the use of demo equipment, ie: Fruityloops. I love the thing to death. Its the quickest way from your brain to others ears imo. But Lately ive been wanting to give the Ableton demo a try...
Maybe try taking stuff from one program and loading it into the other. FL Into ableton or vice verca.
How couyld this be done on a demo, sorry 2 demos. If at all
Help if u can.

Oh! and please try to keep the technical jargin to a minimum.
OR translate.

Thanx: AtlusZero

u gotta "bounce" or "render" the parts you want to "wav" or "aif" files. be careful that the same "sample" and "bit" rate were used for both programs. beyond that, you're reading the manual, buddy.

also, sometimes demo versions don't allow you to do that.

That frist part might work
the second part sux though

thanx stroid

fl demo will let you render, but not save. you might be able to scrounge up an ableton "lite" version for free and just use good organization/session heirarchy to consolidate tracks down and down further. i did this for a while with protools free and people were amazed at what i did with just 8 tracks. you just have to nest your sessions and commit to changes.

you can get a priced down reason deal with the bundled reason adapted you have in some midi controllers like the m-audio o2 .

:P

haha @ soft... for a while i had this romantic notion of making music with only free and demo ware (all legal), but i soon discovered that my time was getting more and more scarce so i finally bought some software. i think atlus COULD afford some software, but just likes the limitations of working with demos. am i wrong?

Just broke is all...
workin on that part though.

im the demo guy too! all i use is fl and pro tools for vocals. Here's to one nighters!!!

The funny thing is ive used many programs out there! Im just happier with
the work flow in F.L. overall. its dreamboat. and i do mostly audio!!

I'll have to agree with u on that. Its a very intuitive prog. Once u get used to the controls.
Makes mixing things down easy.

or you could install linux and get a linux audio dist, which would give you well then enough to play araound iwth (including an opensource fl clone).

or get link - theres a windows version available aswell. experimental, but well worth a try.
if youre considering buying a soundcard any time soon, check out the cards that ships with ableton live lite (google is your friend).

or you could stick with the motheds you know, but wheres the challenge in that?

methods, obviously.
wheres my coffe?

should be possible to work around if you record the output in audacity (free) and save to a file.
