--> Hello!

Um, I saw one episode of this over Christmas : link - well, actually only a bit of it, cos my gran kept changing channel to some other crap!

i liked what i saw. it was a pretty basic overview (sometimes too basic for me, often just at my level) on music theory - harmonics, chords...tralalala! and, it was really nicely explained...

first, i was wondering if anyone else saw any of these, and if so, what you thought?...and secondly, can anyone suggest where i could get all the episodes? can't find it anywhere.........??? alternatively, any suggestions for similar stuff on DVD / youtube etc?

sorry this is a bit UK-centric. thanks in advance for any help.

sam.

(by the way, should this be a forum post rather than a blog? I never know which to use...)

where am that sheeps front arms?!??!

its a famous sheep here in the uk called 'phalido-sheep'.

I have all 4 episodes of that series. Howard also did one about 5 years ago called "the history of music" which was equally fascinating.

check your emmail sAMsKi

the sheep is trying to hug china

lol. um, it was funny man, loads of sheep in this field were doing this wierd thing where they kept dropping their front legs, munching some grass and then pushing themselves back up again...i'm 31 now and i've seen lots of sheep - first time i'd seen that

hey...in a village near where i grew up (in cornwall) there was a seagull with no legs. it would come in and try to land on a wall next to the pub...most times, it rolled a bit and then had to fly off again...sometimes it managed to stay on and then people in the pub would feed it chips - ahaha!

Is phalido like thalidomide?

yup.... it is after a few beers

a trival thing I just remembered about Howard goodhall: he composed the theme tune to Red Dwarf.

If thalidomide babies have no arms,
what do phalidomide babies lack?
he did. lol. mailed you back zanf. top one sir!! many thanks maybe i should delete this blog now...or maybe it can become the fliddy sheep thread instead...

sorry bout that

If anyone else is interested in the Howard Goodhall series, then I'll post it on Mininova as a torrent.

ooh, yeah, they are bonkers. made us laff our tits off when we saw this at work...ahaha!
