Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the U.S. During her entire term the U.S. will still be in Iraq. During her (first) term the Draft will be reinstated.

the draft vote is a very small minority among the legislature like 1 or 2 congressmen, and i don't think any senators are considering it. they would actually have to declare war first, too. i think.

Reinstating the draft would bring an almost immediate end to the war... it wouldn't be so bad. I think it's the only thing keeping people so complacent now, compared to the going ape shit of the 60's/70's

Personally I really hope Gore runs and wins. Even though I'm quite left, I'm ready for some sanity at this point.

My friend who works for the campaign is pretty sure he's running.

on charisma, yeah... sometimes I'm not sure he's a good enough politician. however, his experience and politics are good enough that I think he's worth backing for the primaries. +electability.
