Ahooyhooy. I have been coming to this site for too long now and I doubt anyone knows much about me, so if you're interested, here is my life story condensed into a few words;
I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and have lived here my entire life. People say it's cold and they're right some of the time. Like anything you just get used to it. When it's all you've ever known it's even less of a burden. I love winter.
After finishing high-school in 1992 I took a 5-year "year off" and worked crappy minimum-wage jobs, saving what I could to accquire some music hardware and dedicating all of my spare time to figuring it out. In 1997 I began attending university and graduated in 2001 with a science degree, majoring in computer science. I started working as a code monkey 2 weeks after finishing my last exam and have been at the same place ever since.
I am 6 feet tall, have brown hair and blue zombie-eyes, no tatoos or piercings.
I drive a Subaru Forester, a bit big for the type of driving I do, but all-wheel drive sure is nice when the roads are covered in snow and ice for 5 months of the year. I quit smoking cigarettes 3 years ago after my Mom died very suddenly. I like my weed but I don't touch anything else and haven't for years. I can handle my booze, but I don't drink all that much either.
I love music, synths and other music-related technology. Like many here I'm sure it is what I'm most passionate about in life.
I hope you understand im very bored (am at "work"). This is probably the most uninteresting blog so far.
Oh yeah, frnortnr's my cousin. She's like girl-me, but way cooler.

Great story! I hope to convince my girl to move with me to Canada someday. I grew up in Minnesota, so I've had my share of long shoveling driveways and even roofs. She hates the cold though. It's going to be tricky convincing her.

Vancouver kicks butt. Beautiful, good weather, dope dope (uh, so I'm told), and the the best damn Chinese food in the world (for my money, better than any I've had in China or Hong Kong). And, and some killer French food (la Regalade, yummmmmm.....) And a chocolate buffet. And Battlestar Galactica.
