--> Ahoy sailors. I've been coming to this site for way too long now and I doubt anyone knows much about me, so if you're interested, here's my life story condensed into a few words.
I was born while my dad was watching the three stooges on a rainy saturday morning in Spencerville, OH. It was mother's day, 1983. I went to kindergarten when I wasn't in trouble for hiding behind a tree when the bus came. Music in my household was mostly classical and jazz, because my father is a brilliant classical guitarist and jazz arranger. He was also working for the state scraping roadkill off state highways.
So I moved to Nashville TN when I was 7 because my dad was gonna find some kind of work playing guitar so he wouldn't have to fix so many typewriters or scrape so much raccoon.
I was raised protestant, and I was down with that until I gained abstract thinking skills around the age of 13 like most children do. My skills far exceeded those of other children, you might say I was an abstract ninja who didn't need religion because it was silly.
I never got into music until about 13-14 when I stole an Orbital CD from my cousin who was living with my granny but got arrested. I bought some software and I listened to college radio from 5th grade on. From 5th grade on I used to tape a jungle and industrial radio show and listen to them on my walkman on the way to school.
I got a lot record at thrift stores to sample, and I used to hide the ones I couldn't find the change for. One day in highschool I met the pretty lady who had been stealing those records for years. Then about 5 years later I married that pretty lady.
I can't play anything very well, but I can sort of play my dulcimer, guitar, bass, and keyboards.
I have just finished making the most revolutionary and brilliant rock album probably ever made.
I am 6' and about 200lbs, I have a big pompadour and brown hair, hazel eyes. I am from a melungeon bloodline. Children at the grocery store call me elvis.
I'll be certified to teach middle school ESL in about a year and a half.

Marrying a girl who steals records that you are fond of, is propably worth cool points allthe way up to the next level.

i am enjoying these blogs.

yes we used to hide them in the same place at thrift stores, so we'd always go and find a different stash than the one we left! So we were sort of swapping record purchases! Of course this is like martin denny so i'm not that hip... But now we have a living room with like 700+ records in it.
