Thanks for the kind words Nils. Actually i'm closer to sucking then to genius.. anyway, really really glad you like it.
I'm just running Ableton, and some stuff i process it real time. Then i have a send to my kaos pad + air fx chain and the signal goes back into the laptop. On this track i almost only process the drums with kaos pad and air fx. What i'm hitting is the kaos pad since the sound goes trough just when i touch it so i'm kind of playing it in a rhythmical way.
The soft for video: Final Cut, than some further compression on Quick TIme pro.. but just cause i'm not really understanding how to encode prorperly these vids..

lol. about the edit.
what codec are you using?
are you doing compression while rendering or do you compress after rendering? because, as far as i have witnessed it, is that compression worked better if applied after rendering. but i think the best way to get a great answer is to ask fnrtnr.

Need some bass, man. Where's the bass? Kept waiting for the bass. Everybody played some nice shit, but there wasn't any bass to set it all off. I heard the low notes -- what was needed was bass functioning as bass. Just my opinion of course.

Also, I am impressed that you guys give each other enough musical space...lots of bands don't do that.

Thanks for posting this, Bluermutt. I have to admit, I was mesmerized by that last solo of yours... this is a kind of music I couldn't imagine played live and being even slightly interesting to watch, but I was wrong. Fascinating, man. Thanks again for posting.

really like this. You participate alot in the performance, more than just laptop, band has good pacing and lots of patience, I go with old tortoise on this one. The Blast out at the end was badass.

thanks guys for appreciating this. it is probably the piece that we play better. prugel i don't have any strange chain actually, i'm mostly using delays reverb modulations and filter on my kaos pad but i quickly switch between effecs, while on the air fx is mainly bitcrushing and a noise generator. Then i continuously open and close the mic channel of the signal coming from the drums so it's not always wet but ever changing in a kind of nervous way.
