--> Born in Lancaster, Lancashire, England 1977 unto a stable home life. Father was working 12 hour night shifts at the local power station, mother working there too. Had a lot of time on my own until my bro was born.

Got interested in electronic music aged 10 when neighbour who used to look after me played me Jean Michelle Jarre and Kraftwerk. Knew that this was the shit. Got a yamaha portasound as a joint present for chistmas between me and my bro. I hogged it started making sounds. loved it.

stated playing my mums guitar, loved that as well.

Got into listening to records over and over again for hours on a dancette record player with valves in it that glowed in the dark.

Got into playing glockenspiel and recorder at school. Which was ok but was quite shy so never really got into playing them in front of people. Wanted to steal the perspex glockenspiel sticks.

Played guitar in a mass guitar group which was awful.

Got guitar lessons off Dave Kellet a really good guitar teacher. Learnt rock n roll, blues and classical guitar. Passed 11 plus and started grammar school. Didnt like the school or music teachers much although there was a four track i stole and an atari which i learnt to use notator on. got into rock and punk dead kenneies and loud stuff. was played the prodigy - charlie says which blew my mind.

bought an electric guitar and a cheap amp. started hanging around cavemans music near school playing organ and watching and listening. wanted to play in a band. joined a band and started rehearsing at the musicians co-op. named ice log o.d. we blew several signed bands off stage (including a major label mtv band) before we split up.

heard aphex twin - on made my own version with the portasound and stolen four track and a delay pedal.

went to college in bradford. spent three years in a basement studio making crap techno. bought a computer and got a free copy of cubasis.

performed at a drum and bass night to a good response. made some tapes to give to people. made more tapes. got better. started using guitars lots. got a computer that could actually record multitrack. started doing gigs in squat parties and outdoor raves. got some broken analogue synths which i fixed.

lived in a house with loads of techno boffins - stole there gear and custom software. lived in a studio in a basement with an improv band for two years. went a bit mad after the drummer died.

kept making my own music. 2005 played a gig at the green rooms with hippocamp. got a release on hippocamp summer comp.

Played and helped organise STFU events.
This year got a release on I Can Count Music and Cops and Robbers compilations.
Keep on cooking up stuff. Got more into vocals and guitars.

November 2005 toured UK with random number and hands and fingers.

This year so far have done 16 gigs Including STFU Weimar, Liverpool, London twice, Manchester, The lake district and god knows where else.
Hopefully get an album out after summer has gone.

Having alot of fun at the moment - thanks!

yeah i still haven't had it out with him about that - i hope he didn't do it on purpose. but he probably did :-(

my talent for distraction of the dancer girls has come from people asking my mates to play bushwacka every fucking time we play at a party. really i don't know where these people come from. you dancer, so you dance. me dj, so i play records. simple. but no "I have had drugs therefore i know the secrets of the universe and what would make a crowd move and that bushwacka is the best music like, EVA!"
