For those of you keeping track at home, the score is now strep: 2 - me: 0
Less than a week after finishing my full course of antibiotics for strep throat I seem to have come down with another strain of this nasty disease.
I didn't even drink anything while on my meds, even though demon doctor minisystem tried to make me. I still have a fridge full of beer sitting there, mocking me. And when I open up the pantry, there are all these lovely gifts I got when I turned 40, like scotches and a big bottle of vodka, that I'll have to leave unopened for yet another 10 days.
This sucks shit.
Upside: it doesn't hurt as bad as last time, but strep can seriously mess you up if left untreated, so it looks like more pill-poppin' for me. | |

i was supposed to go out for a few pints tonight with an old friend from college. haven't seen him since '94, but he now runs a big post production house. he was gonna give me a tour of the studio and all that. and this is the second time we've tried to set this up. everytime it looks like we can meet, i get sick. damn you body!!!
