My girl had an interview today and low and behold, they gave her the possition.
Its the specialty care ward in St Joes hospital.
A deffinite pay upgrade, enough for her to suggest I become a stay-at-home-dad.
Not a problem for me. I absolutely despise my detail shop job, plus this will give me a chance to pick up a trade and earn...wait for it...more money!
And we all know what more money means...more music stuff!

I'd do it. I was supposed to get my turn as a home dad when my kid was two. So I killed myself to keep us afloat on just my income for those two years and now it looks like it just didn't work out and I won't be able to do it. I've had 'the job' in our house for seven years now and it saddens me to think of how many late nights I didn't get to see my kid.

i love my job because, wait for it... i'm a stay at home dad. wouldn't trade it for the world, not even for the world falling in love with my music and making me a superstar.
i run a little freelance business on the side, anything i can do to stay working but stay in the house looking after my kids. i do a little web design, a little graphic design, some print work, a little search engine optimization. might even make some music one day.
