in oporto it's the LAW that you have to go on at least 4 port distillery tours. i recommend kicking off with sandeman, they are very generous with their tasting measures. then follow that up with some lunch down at the docks - order polvo (octopus) and give your tastebuds a treat.
as for madrid - prado and reina sofia - that's 4 days of culture right there. have a good trip!

Casa da Música, Fundação de Serralves (MAC), IPF, Palácio de Cristal and Solar do Vinho do Porto, Ribeira and Ribeira de Gaia (where the Port wine cellars are and where you get a nicer picture of the other side), etc.
You should eat "Tripas à moda do Porto", "Francesinha", drink Super Bock and red wine from Douro, and avoid too much Port wine (the hang-over is terrible).
