2004 report regarding Halliburton activities in Iran. Given history of serious, and allegedly (?!?) criminal accounting fraud via A.Anderson Consulting, these numbers could possibly maybe be "slanted"

Biased in the other direction, but making more sense.

If the idea of a multinational playing both sides while funding both sides to make the party more lively seems farfetched, here is some quality reading regarding W's ancestor and Nazi financing. I always though the Nazi financing thing was only somewhat signficant. However, this was simply because I didn't understand that Hitler needed the money very badly. . . and the money explains how Hitler come come with a private army to make things happen:

Meanwhile NPR continues to spout jibberish market reports and wank off to any cornfed propaganda they can acquire. Recall their breaking story of the "the return of the cold war" right when the VA hospital scandal was dominating the airwaves.

There is neutral, and there is stupid.

The Rich get Richer. Halliburton made more money then
All American companies combined. The can shell out millions for
weapoms and such but they cant build a properly armored truck
or tank to save our troops lives, ah the expendables, but to save a
buck. So much greed these days. Sad.

oh and they r movin offshore... link

the getting rich part has problems.
however, the biggest problem is that multinationals can play both sides.
When they play both sides, it becomes evident that warfare stimulates the most profit overall.
This becomes especially problematic if Halliburton can bias decision making in Washington, Tehron, Baghdad, or elsewhere. And of course, Halliburton could sway decision making. No bid contracts, Cheney's retirement, and the fact that Halliburton has links to the Bush empire raise important questions.
In retrospect, I would rather have elected somebody with ties to a ketchup empire, than somebody with ties to the military industrial complex.

An irony here is that many of the musicians I knew just out of college were working for Arthur Anderson consulting. So our own generation is contributing to this mess in a big way.
The question that remains: are the same multinationals contributing to Islamic fundamentalism?
I don't see how they can't contribute in some way. . . in that some amount of unrest seems to stir up profits. but I'm not seeing the connections yet. If anybody has links that would be helpful. I suspect the links are there and are obvious if one knows where to look, but I do not. So the concrete question is does Saudi money support al Qaeda, just as it supports the War on Terror?

"bush empire"?
(like, king of the shrubbery?)
someone managed to link hitler to bush?......that's just silly.

yeah, npr can be frustrating,
I do know that saudi schools teach the kids to hate america.
(website) The total revenues from Iran of all Halliburton affiliates represent approximately one-half of one percent of the revenue of Halliburton Company and do not appear to be material to the Company from a revenue or revenue risk perspective.

so how exactly are the pres and vice linked to haliburton, no one ever told me.

haliburton doesn't do shit. if you want a corperation that sways the gov, go look at insurance/drug companies.

If you don't think Halliburton has ties to the United States Government, then please don't pardon my french, you're a fucking idiot. Hello, they got the Hurricane Katrina reconstruction contract AFTER fucking up Iraq continually. AND both were undisputed. No highest bidder. Dick Cheney = Ex Vice President. WAKE THE FUCK UP.

One of the connections is simple to calculate. To calculate the dollar value of the variable Cheney.Bias, multply number of stock options by $value of each option x %gain in stock price/100. At last calculation, there has been an approximate 1300% gain in stock value. I forget how many stock options were given. The number is readily available on the web, as it is a matter of public record.

To grasp what it means to be a cog in a machine, view the video at the bottom of the page. If it doesn't scare the living daylights out of you, then watch the video of the predator drone that hovers above the aftermath, tracking the movements of insurgents. I'm sure many of them were killed.
Is is better to die on one side or the other? I bet it doesn't matter one fucking bit.
in case any of this would want to take any action. . . don't bother. Halliburton is one step ahead of you:

do you think YOU are slick?
i bet that driver though he was slick when he was rolling the tape while driving.
probably less slick when he crapped in his pants.

Who is playing the game?

Have a look at the Al-Quaida - ISI connections. And think about why you never heard of Pakistan being part of the 'axis of evil'.
Here is an excellent documentary that should be seen by everyone (and btw this is NOT a conspiracy theory film):

This is important stuff. Please have a look with an open mind.
