why?
#1 - a couple of years ago: bought a rare technasia vinyl for 30euros + shipping. lost on the way. i tried to track it without any luck
#2 - bought an rm1x. it was returned to the seller twice, they tried a different company, the rm1x is now stuck at greek customs. you can't trace parcels at greek customs. they said it'll probably take a month to reach my post office...
#3 - bid on a scsi interface. seller wanted me to prove i'm seriously interested in buying the item because of my noob status & location. wtf? i lost the item btw...
#4 - trying to find sellers who will ship to greece. shipping is not available for the best/cheapest items

Most of the other Mediterranean countries seem to have an ebay site, but Greece isn't one of them. Also, it's perhaps one of the only european countries not included on the STFU map of europe ;-)
I got stung with customs with an 828 i won on ebay (USA) too. I did get it in the end, somehow, after a substantial amount of greek paper stamping :-)
