hey everyone : D
im looking for a piece of hardware...a drum machine, a good one that has lots of sounds and, well, you like and can recommend to me (im a bit of a hardware newb.) around £100-£300, which for you yanks is $200-$600. (or lower than this as long as its good.)
my ultimate aim for a drum machine has to be the elektron, but for now, i have to set my sights a little lower. im looking to make drum beats similar to someone like Jimmy Tamborello to begin with, cause i like his music :P
thanks
(ps. no offence meant by yanks)
(maybe a little)
(no, no offence)

novation drumstation
slick tr808 and tr909 emulator and racksize, so pretty small and analog
also own a korg electribe ES-1 sampler, and i must say i'm pretty pleased with it. It's a sampler with an easy 16step sequencer that you can stretch up to 4x16=64steps! If you want, i can demonstrate these two things and record it on vid with my crappy camera.
