--> been working on a small modular and figured i'd share...

it's most of a synthesizers.com entry system plus a cgs wave multiplier and a motm sub octave.
together they sound like this
(just some overdriven noodling. but it's 48k and 24 bit to get an idea about the nice wierdness in the sound. careful with the volume.)

cgs kits are great and cheap (the wave multiplier btw is the one with the sexy red panel)

i'm also putting together a sequencer/control box using a cgs sequential switch and a couple of burst generators tied to each other by switches. its the last pic. i'm building them into a gutted 'patient comfort console' that i found on ebay for cheap. it was originally an eight track player with a goofy remote so a patient could listen to tunes while getting worked on...or something....makes a nice case anyway..

its halfway done but here's a sample of some noodling. the big holes on top are for cv joysticks which are super easy to build, actually.

that's it.

nice, this is what blog are for ..
keep it up

it cost a bundle, but this is over a year and a half...
.com entry system is $1440 all together but paid out at 120 a month (cigarette and liquor money, really)
and you get the nice cabinet and power supply and cables, etc.

cgs is 20-30 for a kit with pcb. i get them from here
add 25-ish for a nice panel from here (or make one) and buy alpha pots and some jacks in bulk
not too bad
