--> Who here has made Em411 their main station for listening to music? I no longer really listen to 'other' music and I think that's a good thing. I love hearing stuff no one else is hearing...makes me feel special.

yes, the music here is all you need if u love em.. there is a wide style base.. even some non em stuff.
there should be more.
but this is my fav song ever released on em411:
link

i do still listen to my favorite 'mainstream' cd's. but i'd say that easily 50% of my musical intake is from em411.

hehe, jdg, that's a beautiful song :o)

man i hire you as my lyricist and manager!

anyway, i still continue to listen to "other" music as well... i have my favourites around here, from past and present. great music goes around here in turns.
Recent blogs: first blog!

i dont really listen to music
if i do its either stuff off here or one of the same old tapes ive had for years

i'm a music whore. i listen to everything but the old-fashioned amradio....even local public radio is ok in my book.
I still think em411 radio is something a notch or ten above average...

em is one of my main sources for new music these days. can't be arsed with much else. half my ipod was music from here. I say was, cos its currently in pieces on my kitchen table, and I don't think it's gonna pull through. there is so much talent here

em411 is amazing. I am a crazy music-whore though, keep downloading about 4-5 new albums a day of soulseek, most of which I listen to only one time, and the haunting stuff goes onto the ipod. These days it's mostly dub stuff and jazz jazz jazz jazz... Switching music styles is really cool. You get onto this idm-trip "whoah all the weird sounds and atmos and beats", then you go back to classical music "whoah all the crazy melodies and dynamics and arrangements" then you go punk "whoah all the energy, the aggression", then to jazz "mang the improv, the rhythm, the theoretical material", and then you're ready to go back to an astonishing journey in idmesque sounddesign. So you are always amazed at everything that is possible in music. And trying to really play each of these kinds of music is amazing. Hard hard work, but so much fun...
