Portland Radio Authority's 2nd installment of Aleatoric is set this Friday (4/20). We're bringing back the need for intelligent live PA acts with the emphasis on melody over beats. More of a couch expedition over dance floor acts. Here's some information on the artists performing their live PA this month ...
Jellyfish & Bubbles- This duo is completely off the wall. Be prepared to get weirded out in a good way. Each show is so different from the next that it's hard to say what's going to happen. They bring a whole load of gear to improv with, so sit back and enjoy the show.
My Alien Ways- Michael is planning a set over video that he created. If you're celebrating the holiday, be sure to catch this set. We all are excited to have MAWs play at our event!
Dizzystarhouse- Us PDX locals know Jef quite well who are involved here in the electronic music scene. He has played just about every genre of electronic music, from the upbeat and dancy Hott Pink to the minimal techno Snakeleader. Dizzystarhouse will definitely feed your hunger for quality electronic music!
Mike Jedlicka- Yeah, this is me, the host of the night. I'll be spinning between acts like usual. Not too sure what I'll be doing, but it'll definitely be: weird for the celebrators and my usual downtempo/ambient goodness. Check out Optic Echo Records for my downloadable mixes …
