--> the last few days i have a stomach flu (gastroenteritis to use the greek term). my stomach & intestines are making all these weird sounds. this made me think how they're always there to mash all the crap i eat & drink, absorb all the nutrients i need and discard the bad stuff.

so, i wanna give props to my man my stomach and to my man my small intestine and to my man my large intestine for sticking around and not failing me. these guys usually aren't appreciated as much as heart or lungs, but they're equally important. and even though they can give real pain (like good ol' screamin jay hawkins says in constipation blues link ) i'm thankful that i've been provided with them.

i want to make clear that i'm not dissin any other organ, i've also had problems with my kidney that made me aware of it's existence and function/malfunction, so i know no to do that. even the spleen, which is there only to protect us from some septicaemia infections and humans can live without it, should be respected and loved.

i invite y'all to show some love to your organs as well!
