ooh man, i fucking love black sabbath, seriously... sabbath bloody sabbath? probably the best metal riff ever, the one at the bridge, ro whatever you want to call it; the "SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH" part.. the rest of the album is pretty mediocre in my opinion, not doom and gloom enough like the first few albums... but seriously, wooo. this song is good.
i even like Heaven and hello with dio, but i can't seem to enjoy any of the other stuff with dio.
anyone with another vote for best black sabbath riff? | |

supernaut! 'vol 4' is possibly my favourite sabbath album.
tbh i love pretty much all the black sabbath albums with ozzy, even the last couple when they were completely losing direction. imo black sabbath are completely underrated as a rock band, people only seem to mention the songs with the big heavy chugging riffs not the lighter stuff like 'planet caravan' and 'solitude'...

fucking love black sabbath.
favorite records are Black Sabbath and Paranoid. when I listen to Paranoid on cd, I usually start it off with track 5, Electric Funeral, and let it loop back around and end with Planet Caravan (nix Iron Man). the album works better for me that way 
I'm a lover of many things Sabbath-inspired too, like Fu Manchu, Kyuss, Sleep, the first few Clutch albums...

war pigs is right now! sabbath kicks so much ass. evn the slower songs are so good. trippy and shimmering. i used to hate the dio stuff when i was a kid. but after listening to so much bullshit over the years in comparison its really good. it has grown on me. mob rules is a f-ing great album! if you listen to the fools, the mob rules.
