--> anyone play go??

i had a wierd idea. i thought it would be fun to have a night for playing go, with (shocking i know) ambient music! =D

my other recent dubious idea was to have a field-recording/phonography night. i'm sure it would pack in a crowd of at least 3!!

cheers.

you are a trailblazer.

I play a little Go. not great at it but me and a buddy have had some great battles!

how about parcheesi and buttrock?

hey.. someone deleted my post. all i said was "i don't know what 'go' is but i still think this is a good idea.

i used to play it online on yahoo games, the games can be really long though, so most of the time i'd end off quitting half way through a game. always fancied getting a proper board.

How about playing warhammer 40k and listening to black metal, that would rule.

do you have a surveillance camera installed in our attic jukka? ;) two pingpong tables with a 4-way 40k battle (space marines vs eldar vs orcs vs chaos!) -- all the while listening to Immortal on full blast. ahh, tabletop strategy!

on second though, i'd rather play chess. should give Go a try sometime.

I think this is a brilliant idea!!! I'm not a good player, but I'd definitely love some games along with ambient music.. can we sync the music or tune into the same web radio station?
yes! unholy blasphemy forever!

did you know that immortal have over 20 words for snow alone?

i play it sometimes

My harlequins are gonna rip your clumpy terminator marines into teeeny leeetle peeeeses.

I'd like to be able to play go, and living here, i really should learn. they have a daily go strategy column in the Yomiuri newspaper, but for me, it's always like the cryptic crossword.

what about the field recording idea? =D

my 150 dice bag got scattered
and my bag of lead is in a sorry state
