--> Anyone here ever use this software sequencer ?
It really looks fun and I can imagine the real time tweakability makes for quick results.
It's software, but the program probably makes composing different, similar to working with an analog sequencer.

If anyone have some really good tips and tricks for analog sequencing (the people with some sort of sequencer in their modular monsters?) please share!

i sequence a modular from a g2, using step and trigger sequencers. it's a blast. the "tweakability" is so vast, that it's hard to get it to do what you want!

making acid leads and basses is pretty straight-forward.

here's something i learned-if you have something that has a cv input, you can use a vca to sequence how much signal it gets (like if you want to do linear fm, for instance), and then sequence that. also, you can never have enough multiples!

i use a program called numerology to do most of my sequencing nowadays. analog sequencers, in general, are one of the best tings invented ever. the sheer scope for modulation, generation and expansion is awesome. i can't use piano roll style sequencing anymore

well, Im thinking about using a controller with rotaries to open up the gates and velocities and stuff
Ive played around with the era demo, and you can really twist a (midi)loop this way
just shifting a few things really gets you into some weird places, and there are so many functions on this thin,g

I remember em v.01 had a blog about S.OA.G. for instance (cbit?), are there similar special techniques for 'analog sequencing'?

I did a podcast episode on how I sequence on an MPC4000 might be of some worth.... http://www.lx7.ca/?q=node/297

oh yea numerology is sooo great! i was blown away when i first saw it long time ago. never personally used it tho. cant wait for the unibin version !
