i sequence a modular from a g2, using step and trigger sequencers. it's a blast. the "tweakability" is so vast, that it's hard to get it to do what you want!
making acid leads and basses is pretty straight-forward.
here's something i learned-if you have something that has a cv input, you can use a vca to sequence how much signal it gets (like if you want to do linear fm, for instance), and then sequence that. also, you can never have enough multiples!

well, Im thinking about using a controller with rotaries to open up the gates and velocities and stuff
Ive played around with the era demo, and you can really twist a (midi)loop this way
just shifting a few things really gets you into some weird places, and there are so many functions on this thin,g
I remember em v.01 had a blog about S.OA.G. for instance (cbit?), are there similar special techniques for 'analog sequencing'?
