hi--i am new here. cool site. i haven't figured out yet how to put my music on here.
i would love to hear other member's influences---what artist(s) inspired you to want to make music in the first place??

the pictures are paper collages i made from
my old websites "House Of Dreams" and "underZone". the sites are defunkt.
trying to apply collage technique to sound instead if vision is what got me into making experimental music. (well, that and listening to the instrumental tracks on bjork's cds.)
if you know anyone who needs a cd cover, i have lots of surreal collages like these, available free.

Hi and welcome, I dig that one pic with the moon and the mask. Nice. You need to upload your tracks on some host like:link, and then check the black bar on the top part of the page for "+release".
There you can submit a release which then is placed on the front page for everyone to catch a listen. They will remain in your emID page, but disappear from the front page in time when tracks by others are being added. During the time your track remains on the front page, please don't submit another one, just wait for it to drop out from the list.

thanks everybody for your warm welcome and the info. the help page here leaves something to be desired. i'm glad you dug the collages. i will post more on a rotating basis. i have lots of them. they are all made from cut-out paper, the old-fashioned way, not photoshop or digital. i hope to get some tracks uploaded by late tonight. i'm also in the process of getting a website: nightowlmusic.org, but that'll probably happen next week. i think i will have fun at this site.i can cover the night shift. i get off work at midnight, stay up till about 4am. i noticed a LOT of other people from the ann arbor/detroit area are on here too. i know detroit is big on electronic music, since techno was invented here, but i've never been to the huge annual em festival, because a crowd of a million people is too much for me. i not really anti-social, just a bit of a recluse.
