--> I have been getting into the idea of making one of these MIDIbox SIDs and i bought the parts from AVI showtech. The parts should come soon and i will get to making it. I was wondering if there is anyone who has had experience making them here at em411 and have any comments or suggestions about them. I know the main uCapps site has a wiki linked from it but i wanted some other input from the em411 krew, if there is any!?!

since when is a SID an "analog sound module"?

I want to finish mine but, I can't seem to find the right power supply for sid card. go figure!

Didn't Sneakthief build one?
He doesn't hang around here much anymore.

miss that guy, too!

we like Rivel.

to my knowledge, Rivel has never spammed this site with a long series of flamebaits.

I have low standards, though.

Coooooool!

i think the sid has an analog filter. i find that slogan a bit out of place too tho.

Thinking of anyone in particular?

I have successfully put together the core module for use in a guitar-type midi controller thing I'm working on.

It was pretty straightforward. Use sockets wherever you can.

I thought about doing the FM synth midibox thing. Maybe when I have more time......
