--> So I was considering going overseas for my post-high school learning. Basically I have no idea what the schools are like in Europe; i.e. cost, how hard it is to get accepted, etc. So, if anybody can fill me in that'd be wonderful.
Thanks.

I considered it and decided against it because education abroad *tends* to be very career-focused.

There are 3,000+ universities in the states, plus a bunch in Canada. I just decided it wasn't worth all the research, especially because I wanted to do liberal-arts, which seems to be an American thing really.

If you don't know what you want to do, start at an American school while you figure that out. How are your grades/resume? What are your interests?

i 2nd deltasleep's advice. maybe try and do a semester abroad someplace your sophomore year and see how it goes.

Plan ahead. Plan which semester to take off, etc. It's a great idea, one doesn't get many opportunities to live abroad when they have a job, house, etc. later

you should become a crab fisherman in alaska

well, im in the UK, i have thought about going inter continent for my post secondary school (16 onwards) as I quite like the USA, but ive settled for Leamington College here, if you know where that is, hit me up ^^

UK universities love foreign students, it's where they get most of their money. As such they're glad to take anyone who's paying.
Not all courses here are career focused, although it seems like things are going that way. i'm sure ucas (http://www.ucas.ac.uk/) will have lots of info.

good info guys, I was thinking of an environmentally based/ liberal arts education. i've been pulling mostly a's and b's during high school so getting in shouldn't be too much of a probelm (not meant to sound condescending).
I really just want to get the hell out of where I am. I want to start fresh.
Perhaps Canada's the way to go, school is somewhat cheap and they have a semi-socialist government, rad.
