I was checking out the referrer report in my weblogs today and I noticed I was getting a bunch of hits from a site called dizzler.com I went and checked it out, did some searches for my songs, and low and behold they're all in there. Dizzler indexes mp3s and makes them searchable and accessible via a flash program. It's a simple idea, but I like it. It's an autonomous conduit to help get (my) music out there. I guess they can get around the legal issues because they are not actually hosting the files.

how does all that work? There are a couple rough versions of a song of mine which I only shared with a few emers. They were only half finished.

these guys have had my tracks for a while. problem was, i had uploaded a few things that weren't meant to be shared and I noticed a ton of hits on my site directly linking to these files. while i like the idea of sharing, i'm not a fan of dizzler because they don't ask and use our bandwidth.

so does it link directly to where the file is uploaded? I have an element to a song which I know I only shared with 3 emers (yall know who you are) and I don't want it to be shared.
How does this happen? So strange! Would it have been that one of my friends who had the link shared it with the site? I mean, how could the site find an element that I have only shared with 3 people?

What is an astroid?
The astroid has a ball that you lightly push, pull and twist with your fingertips in any 3D direction to move a 3D computer graphic object around with complete spatial freedom on the screen.
Why do I need one?
The astroid will revolutionize the way you work. It complements the keyboard and mouse, eliminating many inefficient and repetitive mouse clicks. The Astroid provides the ability to naturally manipulate 3D designs just as you would move a physical object. The astroid drives your 3D design, unleashing the full power of your software. This generates up to 50% efficiency improvements, significantly reduces fatigue, thus keeping you in the design zone. Eight programmable buttons place routine macros and functions at your fingertips. (depends on application)
Who can benefit from an astroid?
Precursors to the astroid were first introduced in 1987. Now over 250,000 3D CAD engineers and designers have embraced the technology. Aerospace and automotive businesses like Airbus, Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Ford, and General Motors plus many smaller businesses and individuals are reaping the benefits that the Astroid can now offer at an affordable price.
Why "Astroid"?
An astroid is a mathematical curve created by rolling a smaller circle inside a larger one. The circle-in-circle reflects the sphere-in-sphere design of the astroid. The word ?astroid? is also an acronym for:
A Spatial Translate/Rotate Orb Input Device
Another way to remember the spelling is
ASTRO Input Device
