I thought i would share my excitement at the fact i live next door to Hampden Stadium in Glasgow. Its mainly a sports stadium, but during the summer they put on big music acts.
I get to hear all the TOP ARTISTS for free...from the comfort of my own living room!!!
George Michael, Rod Stewart and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are all playing in the coming weeks and months.

I moved in November. My friend had already been living there for a couple of years, so ive already had the terrible pleasures of The Eagles, Bon Jovi, U2 and two nights of Robbie Williams.
Its surreal hearing the amplified voice of Bono shouting "Hello Glasgow!" echo all round the flat whilst yer sitting on the couch smoking a big j.
The night The Rolling Stones played last year, my flatmate looked out the window and saw the Band get out of the limo and run into the stadium.
I got a free a ticket for that gig. thats the only stadium gig ive actually seen from inside. Fecking weird. Fireworks, Inflatables. Mick Jagger's tiny sixty year old, sequined body projected on a MASSIVE video screen.
Its a bitch during football (soccer) games though. cos the police march up and down on horses and leave shit everywhere and the football hooligans piss in the garden and scream in the streets for hours.

I would let George Michael give me a BJ in a bathroom. Now you can practice banjo to "Mysterious Ways". Congrats!

haha.
i found it quite bizarre at gordons place. looking out of the window and just seeing that stadium like 100 metres away.
i hope you and gortdon are at least fans of the same glasgownian football team.

nah were not really into football. gordons from the east coast anyway, the idea of him supporting a Glaswegian team would make his ancestors cry out in rage.
I have been known to support link
its my hometowns team.
but i aint been to a game in years.

Because if it's something long dead ancestors do best, it's crying out in rage.

I live pretty close to Celtic Park (Parkhead), its a joy to see drunken fans throw up in the street , at midday, BEFORE they get to the stadium.
Its even more fun when its an old firm game......I love living in Glasgow, but the bigotry on show, between celtic and rangers 'fans', is pretty bad...
and I'm from Belfast!

haha. that whole part of town is mad.
Whether there is a game on or not.
I have to get off at Bridgeton Station every so often for work stuff.
Even in broad dayight i get concerned for my safety.
