xp on mac driver problem

--> my mates soundcard does not work.
starts glitching. 2 seconds good followed by
crackles.
xp running on a new macbook.
sound card edirol fa-66 firewire.
works fine on the mac running os-x
what could be the problem?

You know of the SP2 firewire driver issue? It sets the buss speed at 100mbps instead of 400.

You need to download the SP1 patch to sort it.

I would get the link but I'm on my phone so its difficult.
