I like his music too.
I think the fact that he would get frustrated about his abilities means that he cares about his chosen artform. This shows in the music he makes - it's obvious that he puts effort into it. Probably he feels he's not acheiving his 'vision' for the music, but such is life - you have to just keep trying. In the meantime, we are enjoying the fruits of his labour.
