--> I'm lost, got used. Didn't see it comming. Bad judge of people, too into what I'm doing I guess.

So life moves on.

I'm getting rid of my space in brooklyn the Bronx for a while. I'm gonna save some money and buy some equipment that I've been wanting. Maybe buy a car or just save the cash and get good on my credit for a change. (give them a branch)

I've got some grass to chew on for a bit, while I get it. So while the internet is a intertaining way to spend time with out spending money, I'll probally be around these parts more often. (the people with feeling moving from this town)

yuup.

oh no dude

sounds like youre processing it tho so

details.. (the) internet runs on details!

I wouldn't know where to begin at this point. basically a girl/musician leads me on to make music with her, uses me in various ways, leads me on and is flirtatious, move in together to get the music going, nothing happens, nothing happens, I get bored start to do my own thing (the little jam parties) she uses my friend's boyfriend and I notice. Treat her with a different light, she realizes she can't use me anymore, big argument, tells me to leave, I can fight cause there aren't any lease agreements, don't cause I'd rather put energy into something positive, move to bronx, feel like i need to start evaluating people when I meet them.

perspective shift. never met a person like that before.

oops

yeah, don't try to bang yr talent. sorry, man.

well, it means this at least:

you're talented, enough so to attract some leeches. so take your talent and find some people who deserve it! they're out there for sure

I'd like to bang this talent with a iron post in the head, but you called it, although that was settled before the move in. I completely understand the being used cause you want ta get some nooky and was fully aware of that shista and willing to see where it ended, but the rest kinda has me bewildered at the moment.

Its not a coincidence that I wondered why everyone always talked behind other people's back around her, and that I've met so many of her friends and just saw them disappear like nothing. This became clear when stuff went down with some one I connected with, and even clearer when she and I both realized exactly what was going on.

ps, thanks man, I haven't given up looking and I feel like through the crap, I've really met some good people.

You seem to be very positive about all this, it's great. Too bad for the thing itself, but I guess the experience is a good and necessary one in hindsight. I wish you the very best for the future

yeah, it appears youre handling it well (on the internet at least) so good for you....and keep truckin !
you're wiser now, you paid for it but it's probably worth it.

totally ot: is new york in any way like it is described in old rap songs? when i read about some of you people moving from brooklyn to bronx, manhattan, staten etc, all these verses come to mind and my imagination keeps making up ghetto stories (delete in the mid-90s -> white european hip-hop-head kid ).. i've got to cross the atlantic sometime

the most noticeable thing about new york is that there are way too many fucking restaurants....and no one raps about that, except maybe Slick Rick

The only rappin I've heard so far is in the subway while people obnoxiously yell the lyrics to their song on their IPOD.

Or I guess getto blaster cars drive by my place every so often.

Although, I haven't really sought out the real underground stuff, it would be fun to run in to it by accedent and start making beats for MC's

uh, fuck man.

But you know what, now that I think of it.. In my old town, ther'd be kids on the corner on of the club scene street beat boxing and doing MC battles, would be cool to have that going on all the time around me too, but at least I get the world of acoustic music at Grand Central and all the major subway stops, thats fun.

bummer. sounds like you are moving on though and that's good.

I'm positive cause I have plenty of things to move on to. I might be doing some freelance graphic design soon, not the coolest stuff, but a way to make money and being creative. plus, a new job might be around the corner in midtown, so thats cool. And having a new place to live is exciting to me. And a lot of new hard edges to think about and be inspired with. As far as music and progressing towards that goal, I'll be in the cave brewing up some things, like last summer.

The bummer is that with out school, sometimes winter is the summer and summer is the winter.
