--> So a friend of mine & I recently decided we were going to open a CafePress shop together to finally make shirts, etc. with all the silly things we keep on thinking up that make us titter with glee. Last week we signed up, and on Friday we started uploading some content, and by Saturday, we had some of our content pulled because of possible trademark infringement.

This is going to sound really lame, but that's only because it *is* really lame. Apparently, there's some company out there that thinks they have the exclusive right to the word "caution" when it comes to apparel design. So, in order to protect shop owners from legal action, CafePress regularly pulls all content featuring the word "caution". Seriously, if you put the word into their internal search engine, you get zero search results.

It's no major hassle. All we have to do is change the design to "Warning: May Contain Nuts", and it's almost as good as the original. But really, it's the principle of the whole thing that irks me to no end. Small people with lawyers do our species a disservice.

btw, our shop is really disorganized & under-populated at the moment, but for the curious, here's a link

"should", "have", "gone", "to", "law" and "school" are also copyrighted trademarks. your blog has been reported to the site mods. it will soon be removed and a lawsuit will be made against you.

shame on you!!

LOL got moobs?
why no 5138008 in adult sizes?

you should make the shirt and sell it, I never did get the one I ordered from em411

i think you meant 5318008, mlboob. when i read em411 whilst standing on my head, i can catch your typos.

LOL @ 5318008 shirt

Although, you know, I'm gonna have to sue you because that's the name of my electroclash band.

j/k

Hey, at least I didn't type 5318808, like a certain nerd did last week.

PS, you should send fern one of each of your shirts, she's the queen of the hip shirts and would make a good spokesmodel.

Although, I think jdg can offer you much more real estate for advertising, so he might be better bang for your buck.

5318008 is coming to a massive line-up of products, worry not - i have this pesky job that keeps getting in the way of the shop (stupid wage-labour economy)
